Hours And Days Available

Full-Time – Part-Time – Permanent – Temporary
Full Service – Live-in or Live-out
24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Duties May Include

Standard caregiving
Assistance with daily medical orders
Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
Dental and oral hygiene care
Incontinence care
Assisting patients with transportation
Assistance with mobility and walking
Medication reminders
Meal planning, including special dietary needs
Meal preparation, including grocery shopping
Assistance with pet and houseplant care
Socializing and being a friendly companion
Going for walks and visits outside of home
Accompanying clients during doctor visits
Advocation for client’s physical, mental, and emotional safety and well-being
Communication with the patient’s family
Care and support for at-home post-surgery recovery

A Better Way-In Home Care, Inc. (A.B.W.), is a referral agency. A.B.W. is not the employer of the caregiver it may refer to you. The caregiver may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the caregiver performs his or her work you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and workers’ compensation, under state and Federal law.
